Sweet House MTL Case Study

The Goal

The goal of this project is to create a website for a client that sells baked goods. The client, Sweet House MTL, wants to be able to showcase their products and pricing, as well as provide a way for customers to contact them and place orders.

The Process

>Phase 1: Research

Firstly, I researched some of their competitors in the industry to know more about the trends, what elements to put, and how their are placed in the website.

>Phase 2: Sketches/Wireframes

Secondly, I sketched out some ideas for each page on paper see what kind of layout would be the best fit for the client.

>Phase 3: Colors, Typography, Graphic Elements

Then, I carefully chose the typography, color palette and graphic elements that I will use to reflect the client's brand.

Challenge

One of the challenges I faced is making the site responsive.

Solution

I used media queries to make the site adapt to different screen sizes.
